Chromebook Help

During Distance Learning, please direct all Chromebook questions and repair issues to the helpdesk at support@pthsd.zendesk.com.

 Responsibilities:

  • Bring your device every day. 

  • Charge your device. The Device Protection Plan covers replacement chargers. Otherwise, replacement chargers are $25.

  • Use the technology responsibly: Do not take photos, video, audio of anyone without their permission. Do not post information about anyone without their permission.

What if my device does not charge?

Bring your device to the Media Specialists. If we cannot help we will schedule it for repair/replacement.

What do I do if my Chromebook is broken/cracked?

You must come to the Media Center in person with your Chromebook to fill out a repair form.

Students are strongly encouraged to purchase the Device Protection Plan (DPP) for $40 per device. The Device Protection Plan covers  TWO separate incidents per school year; additional damages are not covered. Parents that do not purchase the Protection Plan are responsible to pay for the cost of any repair(s) for physical damage to the student’s device, any loaner devices issued to the student, and the power adapter. If the device is unable to be repaired, this may also include the full replacement cost of the device.
